U4GM - Complete Guide to Meat Week in Fallout 76: 7 Things to Do and Earn

Meat Week is one of the most exciting seasonal events in Fallout 76, bringing the wasteland together for a carnivorous celebration. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a new survivor, this guide will help you make the most of the event by highlighting key activities and rewards. From prime cuts to exclusive Fallout 76 items, here’s everything you need to know—plus some personal tips from my own adventures in Appalachia.

1. Participate in the "Prime Cuts" Events

Before the main feast, you’ll need to gather ingredients by joining "Prime Cuts" events. These pop up every 15 minutes and require players to hunt and defend against waves of creatures. My favorite part? The chaotic battles against hordes of radstags, yao guai, and even deathclaws. Completing these events earns you scrip, legendary drops, and meat for the main event.

2. Attend the "Grahm’s Meat-Cook" Event

The highlight of Meat Week is Grahm’s Meat-Cook, where players work together to keep the fire burning, turn spits, and clean up waste. Teamwork is crucial—failing tasks lowers the reward tier. From my experience, sticking to one role (like turning spits) ensures efficiency. Success grants Treasury Notes, rare plans, and other Fallout 76 items like the Tenderizer or Peppered Tenderizer mod.

3. Collect Unique Plans and Rewards

Meat Week offers exclusive plans, including the Meat Week Flag, Chally’s Feed, and the infamous Tenderizer. Last year, I finally unlocked the Pepper Shaker plan after multiple attempts—it was worth the grind! Keep an eye out for these rare Fallout 76 items, as they’re only available during this event.

4. Exchange Meat for Legendary Scrip

After collecting meat from Prime Cuts, deposit it at the Meat-Cook for additional rewards. The more you contribute, the more scrip you earn. If you’re looking to buy Fallout 76 caps later, turning excess meat into scrip is a smart move.

5. Farm Legendary Enemies

Prime Cuts events spawn legendary creatures, making this a great time to farm legendary gear. I’ve scored multiple three-star weapons during Meat Week—perfect for trading or personal use.

6. Complete Daily and Weekly Challenges

Special Meat Week challenges offer extra XP, caps, and even Atoms. Don’t miss these, as they’re an easy way to boost your progress.

7. Trade for Missing Rewards

If RNG isn’t on your side, trade with other players for missing plans or gear. Some survivors sell extra Fallout 76 items, and you might find what you need without endless grinding.

Meat Week is a fantastic opportunity to stock up on rare gear, scrip, and caps while enjoying chaotic, community-driven gameplay. Whether you’re hunting for the perfect weapon or just here for the barbecue, this event has something for everyone.
