Having a Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card (PDF, 1.69 MB) allows you to live and work permanently in the United States. The steps you must take to apply for a Green Card will vary depending on your individual situation.

Some businesses offer Social Security name changes or cards for a fee. Social Security provides those services and more for free. Social Security is the best place to get information about Social Security.
If you lost your card, you may not need a replacement. In most cases, simply knowing your SSN is enough. But if you do need a replacement, we make it easy. Once you complete your application (online or in person), you will receive your Social Security card in the mail.

If you want to receive a different decision on your application when you apply again, you should review your credit report to see if you have conditions that might result in a declined application and then check for these common errors in your credit report.
You can apply for Apple Card when you buy a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or other eligible Apple product with Apple Card Installments. If your application is approved with insufficient credit to cover the cost of the device you want to buy, you can choose a different device that's covered by your credit limit. You can also choose a different payment method or use Apple's Trade-in program.
Goldman Sachs might need more time to review some applications, or request more information to verify your identity. After you apply, you are shown a message in Wallet app that will indicate your application is in review. Updates regarding your Apple Card application will be sent to the primary email address associated with your Apple ID.

Texas HHS does not support using another website or mobile app to check your Lone Star Card balance or review card activity, and doing so could expose you to security or fraud risks. If you have any questions about using the Lone Star Card call the Lone Star Help Desk at 800-777-7328.
Starting on December 23, 2022, the EBT Call Center hours of operation are changing to 7:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. The EBT Call Center will not be open on weekends or holidays. You can activate your card, select a PIN, check your card balance, view your transaction history or cancel your EBT card by using the cardholder portal at www.ebtEdge.com or through the EBT Edge mobile app available at Google Play or the Apple Store.

ID cards for individuals 18 years of age and older will be valid for a period of 8 years and ID cards for those under the age of 18 will be valid for 5 years. However, individuals with a limited term ID will receive a card with a time period that equals the duration of their lawful status in the United States. They will not be able to renew by mail, MDOT MVA Kiosk or online.

A Firearms Permitholder is only authorized to carry an exposed (i.e. non-concealed) loaded firearm only of the caliber(s) listed on the firearms permit card and only when performing the duties of the license associated with the permit.
A Baton Permit may only be issued by Bureau-certified Baton Training Facilities to individuals who successfully complete the required baton training course and who either possess a valid and current BSIS-issued Security Guard registration or is applying for a BSIS Security Guard registration. A Baton Permit is only valid when the individual holds a valid and current Security Guard registration. A Baton Permit is not subject to renewal.
A Proprietary Private Security Officer (PSO) is not the same as a Security Guard (G) registration. A PSO is unarmed, wears a distinct uniform, interacts with the public, works for a single employer, and cannot have their security services contracted out to another entity. If a PSO separates from their employer and is then hired by a different employer, they do not need to apply for a new PSO registration.
Under MAUCRSA, a separate license is required for each premises where a person will be engaging in commercial cannabis activity.
